Possible Causes
Corrupted control firmware, Damaged main control PCB, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and control box, Moisture ingress into control housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before removing the control box cover or keypad panel.
- Hard reset:
- Unplug the spa for at least 10 minutes.
- Press and hold any button on the keypad for 10 seconds (with power disconnected) to discharge residual power.
- Reconnect and test.
- Check keypad cable:
- Inspect the keypad ribbon cable from the top control panel to the control box.
- Ensure it is fully seated and not kinked or damaged.
- Inspect control box for moisture:
- Open the control box and look for condensation, corrosion, or water marks on the main control PCB.
- If moisture is present, dry the area gently with a hair dryer on low heat and allow 24 hours before reapplying power.
- Persistent E06: If the error returns after drying and reseating cables, the control PCB is likely damaged. Replace the complete Avenli control box assembly with the correct model for your spa.
