Possible Causes

Failed ambient temperature sensor, Sensor dislodged from mounting point, Damaged sensor wiring, Corroded connector at control box

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before handling any sensors or wiring.

  • Locate ambient sensor:
    • On many Avenli models, the ambient air temperature sensor is mounted near the control box or air intake.
    • Identify the small probe or thermistor and its cable.
  • Inspect cable and connector:
    • Check for cuts, abrasions, or crushed sections.
    • Unplug and replug the sensor connector at the control PCB to clean contacts.
  • Check sensor placement:
    • Ensure the sensor is not touching hot components like the heater tube.
    • Reposition it to its original clip or bracket so it measures true ambient air.
  • Replace sensor if damaged:
    • If the probe is broken or the cable insulation is cracked, replace with a compatible Avenli ambient temperature sensor.
  • If E07 persists: The sensor input on the main control PCB may be faulty, requiring control box replacement.
