Possible Causes
Ambient temperature below operating range, Faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too low, Inadequate insulation around control box, Sensor not properly mounted
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to operate the spa outside the temperature range specified in the Avenli manual.
- Verify environment:
- Check the outdoor temperature; many Avenli spas are not designed for operation below approximately 4°C–5°C (39°F–41°F).
- If below this, allow the environment to warm or move the spa to a more sheltered location.
- Insulate control area:
- Ensure the control box compartment is closed and any factory insulation is intact.
- Avoid blocking ventilation openings.
- Check ambient sensor:
- Inspect the ambient temperature sensor for damage or dislodgement.
- Make sure it is not directly exposed to wind or ice.
- Reset and test: After environmental conditions improve, unplug the spa for 5 minutes, reconnect, and test. If E08 appears even in moderate temperatures, replace the ambient sensor.
