Possible Causes
Airlock in heater, Blocked filter preventing flow, Pump not primed, Heater installed above water level causing air pockets
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before loosening any fittings. Hot water and pressure can cause burns.
- Check water level and filter:
- Ensure the spa is filled to the correct level.
- Remove and clean or replace the Avenli filter cartridge.
- Bleed air from heater:
- Locate the highest hose connection near the heater tube.
- With the spa unplugged, slightly loosen the clamp or fitting until air and a small amount of water escape, then retighten.
- Prime the pump:
- Reconnect power and run filtration only for several minutes to confirm steady water flow.
- Reset error: Unplug for 5 minutes, reconnect, and enable heating. If E15 returns quickly, the flow sensor or dry-fire detection circuit may be faulty and the heater assembly or control box may need replacement.
