Safety first: Unplug the spa before touching the pump or opening any covers.

Check for air in system:
- Bleed air from the pump and heater by loosening a high-point fitting until water flows steadily.
Inspect for debris:
- Remove the filter and check for objects that may have entered the suction.
- Open the pump housing (if serviceable) and inspect the impeller for stones, leaves, or plastic.
Check mounting:
- Ensure the pump is securely mounted and not vibrating against the control box housing.
Replace pump: If noise persists and bearings feel rough when spinning the shaft by hand, replace the complete Avenli pump motor assembly.

Pump makes loud grinding or rattling noise during filtration or heating.
