Possible Causes
Water temperature near freezing, Ambient temperature below freezing, Temperature sensor detecting low temperature at equipment bay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not shut off power to the spa during freezing conditions unless it is fully winterized.
- Keep cover on: Ensure the Beachcomber cover is properly seated to retain heat.
- Verify water level: Maintain proper water level so pumps and heater can operate correctly.
- Allow system to run: The spa is protecting itself from freezing by running pumps. This is normal behavior.
If ICE remains even in warm weather, the temperature sensor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
