Display shows LOC or a lock icon, buttons on the keypad do not respond.

Safety: No electrical work is required for this issue.

• Unlock sequence: On most Beachcomber topsides, press and hold the Temperature Up and Temperature Down buttons together for 3–5 seconds to toggle the lock. Refer to your specific model's manual if this does not work.
• Power cycle: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the GFCI for 30 seconds, then restore. Try the unlock sequence again.
• Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to ensure none are physically stuck or damaged.

If the panel remains locked or unresponsive, the topside control may be failing and require replacement.
