How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI before touching the pump or wiring.
- Check for obstructions: Remove the front panel and inspect Pump 1 suction and return lines for closed valves or visible blockages.
- Spin test (power off): Try to rotate the pump shaft (at the rear fan or coupling) by hand. If it is seized, the pump will need replacement.
- Inspect wiring: Verify that Pump 1's power cord is securely connected to the correct receptacle on the control pack.
If P1 errors persist and the pump is mechanically free, the control board relay or pump windings may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
