Possible Causes
Shorted or open sensor circuit, Incorrect sensor type installed, Corroded sensor connector on control board, Damaged sensor harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI before inspection.
- Inspect both sensors: Locate both the primary temperature sensor and high-limit sensor leads. Check for damage, pinched wires, or corrosion.
- Reseat connectors: Unplug each sensor from the control board and plug it back in firmly.
- Check for water intrusion: Ensure there is no water leaking into the control pack that could short sensor circuits.
If SE persists, replace the affected sensor(s) with Beachcomber-approved parts. If new sensors do not resolve the error, the control board sensor input may be defective.
