Spa makes a loud humming noise from the pump area but jets do not run.

Possible Causes

Failed pump bearings, Debris jammed in impeller, Voltage supply issue causing motor stall, Internal motor failure

Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI immediately to prevent motor damage.

Check for obstructions: With power OFF, remove the pump and inspect the impeller for debris.
Spin shaft: Attempt to rotate the motor shaft by hand. If it will not turn, the motor is seized and must be replaced.
