How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI immediately to prevent motor damage.

  • Check for obstructions: With power OFF, remove the pump and inspect the impeller for debris.
  • Spin shaft: Attempt to rotate the motor shaft by hand. If it will not turn, the motor is seized and must be replaced.
