How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI immediately to prevent motor damage.
- Check for obstructions: With power OFF, remove the pump and inspect the impeller for debris.
- Spin shaft: Attempt to rotate the motor shaft by hand. If it will not turn, the motor is seized and must be replaced.
- Verify supply voltage: Have an electrician confirm correct voltage at the spa pack.
Seized pumps generally require replacement of the entire pump assembly.
