Possible Causes
Aged or shrunken jet body gasket, Cracked jet body from freeze damage, Loose jet retaining nut behind shell
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and lower water level below the leaking jet before repair.
- Access rear of jet: Remove side panels and insulation as needed to reach the back of the leaking jet body.
- Tighten retaining nut: Carefully tighten the plastic nut that holds the jet body to the shell. Do not overtighten.
- Replace gasket if needed: If tightening does not stop the leak, remove the jet body and replace the gasket with a Beachcomber-compatible seal.
Because this involves shell penetration, take care to avoid cracking the acrylic. Many owners prefer a technician for this repair.
