Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa before any inspection. Do not attempt to repair electronic boards at component level unless you are qualified.
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for 15–20 minutes to fully discharge the electronics, then reconnect and test.
- Check power source: Ensure the outlet voltage matches the spa rating and that there are no frequent power interruptions or surges. Use a surge protector if recommended by Bestway.
- Inspect for visible damage: If you open the control housing (only if permitted), look for burn marks, melted plastic, or a burnt smell from the PCB.
Persistent E08 almost always indicates a failed control board. The safe remedy is replacement of the complete control/pump/heater unit or the main PCB by an authorized technician.
