How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not attempt to bypass safety devices such as GFCI or fuses.

  • Check home breaker: Locate the circuit breaker feeding the outlet and reset it if tripped. If it trips again immediately, stop and call an electrician.
  • Test outlet: Plug in a lamp or other small appliance to confirm the outlet has power.
  • Inspect GFCI plug: Press the RESET button on the Bestway plug. If it will not reset or the TEST button does nothing, the plug may be faulty.
