Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to bypass safety devices such as GFCI or fuses.
- Check home breaker: Locate the circuit breaker feeding the outlet and reset it if tripped. If it trips again immediately, stop and call an electrician.
- Test outlet: Plug in a lamp or other small appliance to confirm the outlet has power.
- Inspect GFCI plug: Press the RESET button on the Bestway plug. If it will not reset or the TEST button does nothing, the plug may be faulty.
- Examine power cord: Look for cuts, crushed areas, or melted insulation. Do not use the spa if any damage is found.
If the outlet and GFCI are good but the spa remains dead, an internal fuse or the control board may have failed. Internal electrical repairs should be performed by a qualified technician.
