Possible Causes
Improperly seated JetPak on Bullfrog manifold, Damaged JetPak gasket or O-ring, Cracked JetPak manifold body, Debris preventing proper sealing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power at the GFCI breaker before removing JetPaks.
- Remove JetPak: Carefully lift the JetPak straight up and out of its cavity. Be mindful of the water still in the pack.
- Inspect gasket and manifold: Examine the large gasket or O-ring on the back of the JetPak and the mating Bullfrog manifold in the spa shell. Look for tears, flattening, or debris.
- Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe both the JetPak gasket and the manifold surface clean with a soft cloth. Remove any sand, grit, or scale.
- Replace damaged gasket: If the gasket is cracked or permanently compressed, replace it with a genuine Bullfrog JetPak gasket.
- Reseat JetPak: Align the JetPak with the manifold and lower it straight down, ensuring it fully engages and sits flush with the spa shell.
- Test for leaks: Restore power and run the jets while observing the area behind the JetPak for any signs of leakage.
