How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before removing the topside panel.
- Inspect panel surface: Look for cracks, bubbles, or water under the overlay that could allow moisture into the keypad.
- Check cable connection: Access the underside of the topside panel and ensure the ribbon cable is firmly connected to the panel and the IQ control board.
- Dry out moisture: If minor moisture is present, gently dry the area and allow time for evaporation before restoring power.
- Replace panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the topside control panel with a Caldera-compatible unit.
