Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet body gasket, Loose jet body nut behind shell, Cracked jet body housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and lower the water level below the leaking jets.
- Access backside: Remove side panels to access the rear of the leaking jet(s). This may require removing insulation.
- Tighten retaining nut: Gently tighten the plastic nut holding the jet body to the shell. Do not overtighten.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is brittle or missing, remove the jet body and install a new gasket or complete Caldera-compatible jet body assembly.
Because access can be difficult and insulation must be removed and replaced, many owners choose to have a technician perform this repair.
