Failed E5 circulation pump, Air lock in circulation line, Blocked suction or filter, Control board not powering circulation circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before working on the pump.
- Clean filter: Remove and rinse the filter cartridge to ensure it is not restricting flow.
- Bleed air: Loosen the union at the circulation pump to release trapped air, then retighten.
- Check for operation: Restore power and listen/feel for the E5 circulation pump running. If it is silent and no vibration is felt, it may have failed.
- Replace pump: Swap the E5 circulation pump with a Caldera-compatible replacement, transferring unions and wiring as per the original installation.
