How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not use the spa if water is excessively hot.
- Verify with thermometer: Compare displayed temperature with an external thermometer.
- Shade and vent: In hot weather, provide shade and occasionally open the cover to release heat.
- Inspect sensors: Ensure the temperature sensor is properly seated in the heater tube and not touching the metal directly if not designed to.
- Replace sensor: If readings are consistently off, replace the temperature sensor.
If the heater continues to run when the setpoint is reached, the heater relay may be stuck and the control pack should be replaced.
