Spa heats very slowly or cannot reach maximum temperature in cold weather.

• Check cover condition: Inspect the Canadian Spa Company spa cover for waterlogging, tears, or poor seal. Replace if heavy or damaged.
• Verify mode: Make sure the spa is not in Economy or Sleep mode, which limit heating.
• Extend filtration cycles: Increase filtration duration so the heater runs longer each day.
• Have voltage checked: Ask an electrician to confirm that the spa is receiving full rated voltage under load.

If performance remains poor, the heater may be partially failing and should be tested and possibly replaced.
