• Step 1 – Check mode: Press the Mode or Temp button sequence on the topside panel to cycle through modes (e.g., STD, EC, SL). Refer to your Catalina manual for exact button combinations.
• Step 2 – Select standard mode: Choose Standard (STD) or Ready mode so the spa can heat as needed, not just during filter cycles.
• Step 3 – Monitor temperature: Allow several hours for the spa to reach the new set temperature and confirm that EC no longer appears.
