Display shows Pr or PRIMING; pumps may run intermittently and heater is disabled.

Safety: Ensure all jets are open and water level is correct before running pumps.

• Step 1 – Allow priming: After restoring power, the Catalina spa enters priming mode for several minutes. Use the pump buttons to run each pump and purge air from the lines.
• Step 2 – Exit priming: After 4–5 minutes, the spa should automatically exit priming and display water temperature. If not, follow the manual to exit priming (often pressing a specific button).
• Step 3 – Bleed air if needed: If pumps are noisy or not moving water, bleed air from pump unions as described in other entries.
