How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before touching the pump or wiring.
- Check for obstructions: Remove the Clearwater Spas filter and inspect for debris that could restrict flow to Pump 1.
- Spin test: With power off, try to rotate the Pump 1 motor shaft (at the rear fan or shaft) by hand. It should turn smoothly. If it is locked, the pump may be seized.
- Inspect wiring: Verify that the pump's power cord is firmly plugged into the control pack and not damaged.
- Reset and test: Restore power and briefly try Pump 1. If the P1 error returns immediately, the pump or control board likely needs professional service.
