How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before touching any electronics.
- Compare temperatures: Use a separate thermometer to compare actual water temperature to the displayed value.
- Inspect sensor connectors: Reseat both primary and secondary sensor plugs on the Clearwater Spas control board.
- Check for damage: Look for nicks or cuts in the sensor cables.
- Replace sensor if needed: If readings are far off and connections are good, replace the suspect sensor with a compatible part.
If a new sensor does not resolve SE, the control board may require professional diagnosis or replacement.
