Possible Causes
Tripped main breaker or GFCI, Loose supply wiring at spa disconnect, Blown internal fuse on Clearwater Spas control board, Failed control transformer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Electrical troubleshooting should only be done if you are comfortable and qualified. Always turn off power at the main breaker before opening any electrical panels.
- Check breakers: Verify that the house breaker and spa GFCI breaker are in the ON position. Reset if tripped.
- Test GFCI: Press the TEST and then RESET buttons on the spa GFCI. If it will not reset, there may be a ground fault.
- Inspect control pack fuse: With power off, open the Clearwater Spas control pack and look for a small glass or blade fuse on the board. Replace only with the same rating if blown.
- Look for burn marks: Any burnt smell or charred components indicate the need for professional service.
