Possible Causes
Water temperature near freezing, Low ambient air temperature around spa, Faulty temperature sensor reading too low, Control pack freeze-protect logic engaged
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the spa remains powered during freezing weather to prevent damage.
- Keep cover on: Maintain the Coast Spas cover in good condition and closed to retain heat.
- Verify water level: Low water can reduce freeze protection effectiveness; top up as needed.
- Check sensor accuracy: Compare displayed temperature to an external thermometer. Replace the sensor if readings are inaccurate.
- Do not shut off power: Allow the spa to cycle pumps as designed to prevent frozen plumbing.
