Possible Causes
Expired ozone generator on Coast Spas, Failed ozone check valve, Clogged ozone injector, Ozonator not receiving power from control pack
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before working on ozone equipment. Avoid inhaling concentrated ozone.
- Check indicator: Some ozonators have a status light. If off when it should be on, the unit may be dead.
- Inspect tubing: Check ozone tubing for kinks, cracks, or water inside. Replace tubing and check valve if contaminated.
- Clean injector: Remove and soak the Mazzei-style injector in a descaling solution if clogged.
- Replace ozonator: If the unit is older than 3–5 years or shows no output, replace with a Coast Spas-compatible ozonator.
