How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before touching the pump.
Reduce noise:
- Bleed air: Loosen the circulation pump union slightly until water seeps out, then retighten. Restore power and listen for improvement.
- Check mounting: Ensure the circulation pump is firmly bolted to the equipment base and that rubber isolation mounts are intact.
- Inspect for debris: With power OFF and water drained below pump level, open the pump wet end and check for debris in the impeller. Clean and reassemble.
- Replace pump: If noise persists and bearings are clearly worn (grinding sound), replace the circulation pump with a Dream Maker-compatible circulation pump.
