Display shows LOC or keypad unresponsive, buttons do not work

Safety first: No internal electrical work is required for this issue; do not open the control pack for a simple lockout.

Unlock the panel:

• Try standard unlock sequence: On many Dream Maker Spas, press and hold the TEMP UP and TEMP DOWN buttons together for 3–5 seconds, or hold the LIGHT button for several seconds, to clear LOC. Refer to your specific model’s manual for the exact combination.
• Power cycle: Turn the GFCI breaker OFF for 30 seconds, then ON. Sometimes this clears a software lock.
• Check for stuck buttons: Inspect the topside control for water intrusion or physically stuck keys. If buttons feel mushy or always pressed, the keypad may need replacement.
• Replace topside control (if needed): If the panel remains locked or unresponsive, install a compatible Dream Maker topside control panel matched to your control pack.
