Topside control buttons are unresponsive or only some buttons work

Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before disconnecting the topside panel.

Steps:

• Inspect panel surface: Look for bubbles, cracks, or moisture under the overlay. This indicates water intrusion.
• Check cable connection: Remove the equipment bay panel and verify the topside ribbon cable is firmly seated on the control pack.
• Test with replacement (if available): If you have access to a compatible Dream Maker topside, plug it in to see if functionality returns.
• Replace topside panel: If the panel is water-damaged or buttons are worn, replace it with a Dream Maker-compatible topside control matched to your control pack model.
