Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet body gasket, Loose jet body nut, Cracked jet body housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and lower water level below the leaking jet before disassembly.
Fix jet leak:
- Remove jet insert: Twist and pull out the jet insert (if removable) to access the jet body.
- Access back of jet: From the equipment side of the spa, locate the back of the leaking jet body through the foam (Dream Maker rotomolded shells often have accessible backs).
- Tighten retaining nut: Gently tighten the large plastic nut holding the jet body to the shell. Do not overtighten, as this can crack the body.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is deteriorated, remove the jet body, clean the shell surface, and install a new gasket or o-ring designed for that Dream Maker jet body.
- Replace jet body: If the housing is cracked, replace the entire jet body assembly and reseal with appropriate gasket and silicone as specified by the manufacturer.
