Display shows EC or ECO, spa heats less frequently and may not maintain high temperature.

Possible Causes

Spa set to Economy or Energy-Saving mode, Filtration cycles not aligned with usage, User programming

Safety first: No internal electrical work is needed.

Check mode setting: Use the topside control panel to view the current heating mode. If EC or ECO is shown, the spa only heats during filter cycles.
Change to Standard mode: Switch to Standard or Ready mode so the heater maintains set temperature at all times.
Adjust filtration times: If you prefer Economy mode, adjust filter cycle times so heating occurs before typical use.
