Possible Causes

Loose pump or heater unions, Cracked PVC fittings, Failed pump shaft seal, Leaking heater manifold gaskets

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and do not operate the spa with active leaks near electrical components.

  • Locate leak source: Remove the front panel of the Dynasty Spas cabinet and use a flashlight to trace drips or wet areas while the spa is filled.
  • Check unions: Hand-tighten pump and heater unions. Do not overtighten, as this can crack fittings.
  • Inspect pump seal: If water is leaking from between the pump wet end and motor, the shaft seal has failed. Replace the seal or the entire pump wet end.
  • Repair plumbing: For cracked PVC elbows or tees, drain below the leak and replace the fitting using PVC primer and cement rated for hot tubs.
