Possible Causes

Water temperature below minimum threshold, Spa just refilled with cold water, Sensor reading very low, Spa in economy or sleep mode

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure GFCI protection is present and functioning before operating the spa.

  • Allow warm-up: If the spa has just been refilled with cold water, allow time for the Everlast heater to gradually raise the temperature. COL may clear automatically.
  • Check mode: On the Everlast topside control, verify the spa is in standard mode, not economy or sleep, which can limit heating cycles.
  • Verify sensor reading: If the displayed temperature is unrealistically low, the temperature sensor may be faulty. Test and replace if necessary.
  • Insulate and cover: Ensure the Everlast spa cover is in good condition and properly seated to retain heat, especially in cold climates.
