How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before unplugging or plugging any control cables.
- Reseat cable: Disconnect the Everlast topside control cable from the control pack, inspect for corrosion, then reconnect firmly.
- Inspect keypad: Check the topside panel for cracks, cloudiness, or water under the display. Replace the Everlast topside control if water-damaged.
- Try alternate port: If the control pack has multiple keypad ports, move the cable to a different port (if allowed by Everlast documentation) to test.
- Board replacement: If a known-good keypad still shows dE, the control board may be defective and require replacement.
