Possible Causes
Seized Pump 1 motor, Tripped thermal overload in Pump 1, Loose pump wiring at control pack, Defective pump relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before touching the pump or wiring.
- Check for obstructions: Remove the Everlast spa filter and check for debris that could be blocking flow to Pump 1.
- Spin shaft: With power OFF, try to rotate the Pump 1 motor shaft using a screwdriver at the rear fan opening. If seized, the pump will need replacement.
- Inspect wiring: Verify that Pump 1 wires are tight at the control pack terminals and that there is no discoloration or melting.
- Thermal reset: Allow the pump to cool for 30–60 minutes, then restore power and test. If P1 returns quickly, the pump motor or control relay may be failing.
