Possible Causes

Recent power interruption, Loose connections at spa terminal block, Undersized or long wiring run causing voltage drop, Failing GFCI breaker

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the main spa breaker before opening the electrical compartment. Only qualified persons should work on high-voltage wiring.

  • Reset breaker: Turn the Everlast spa GFCI breaker fully OFF, then ON. Observe if PF clears.
  • Inspect connections: With power OFF, remove the control pack cover and verify that all line and neutral conductors are tight at the terminal block. Tighten loose screws to manufacturer torque specs.
  • Measure voltage: Using a multimeter, confirm that the spa is receiving the correct voltage (typically 240V for Everlast Spas) under load. If voltage is low, consult an electrician to correct wiring or breaker issues.
  • Replace faulty breaker: If the GFCI trips frequently or shows signs of overheating, have it replaced by a licensed electrician.
