Possible Causes
Shorted or open temperature sensor, Moisture in sensor connector, Incorrect replacement sensor installed, Control board fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before handling electronics.
- Dry connectors: Inspect the sensor connectors on the Everlast control pack for moisture. Dry thoroughly and apply dielectric grease if recommended.
- Check sensor type: Ensure any replacement sensor is the correct type (e.g., 10k thermistor) specified for Everlast Spas.
- Measure resistance: Test each sensor with a multimeter and compare to the temperature/resistance chart. Replace any sensor that is open, shorted, or far out of spec.
- Board inspection: Look for burn marks or corrosion on the control board near the sensor inputs. If present, the control pack may need replacement.
