Possible Causes
Failed temperature sensor probe, Loose or corroded sensor connector, Damaged sensor cable, Control board sensor input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing the control pack.
- Locate sensor: Find the primary temperature sensor on the heater tube or in the sensor well of your Everlast Spas heater assembly.
- Inspect wiring: Check the sensor cable for cuts, abrasions, or rodent damage. Ensure the plug is fully seated on the Everlast control board.
- Clean connectors: If corrosion is present on the sensor plug, clean gently with electrical contact cleaner and reconnect.
- Resistance test: With the sensor disconnected and water at a known temperature (e.g., 80–100°F), measure resistance across the sensor leads. Compare to the Everlast/standard 10k thermistor chart. If readings are far off, replace the temperature sensor with an Everlast-compatible probe.
- Board diagnosis: If a new sensor does not clear Sn1, the control board sensor circuit may be defective and require replacement.
