How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and verify zero voltage before touching the pump.
- Attempt to free shaft: Access the rear of the Everlast pump motor and try to rotate the shaft by hand or with a screwdriver. If it will not turn, the pump is seized.
- Inspect wet end: Remove the pump wet end cover and check for stones, plastic, or other debris blocking the impeller.
- Check for leaks: Look for water around the pump shaft seal, which can lead to bearing failure.
- Replace pump: If the motor is seized or bearings are noisy, replace the complete Everlast pump assembly.
