Possible Causes
High dissolved solids from soaps and oils, Low calcium hardness, Use of non-spa chemicals, Inadequate filtration time
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Handle all spa chemicals with gloves and eye protection.
- Test water: Use a test strip or kit to check pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness in your Everlast spa.
- Shock treatment: Add a non-chlorine shock or chlorine shock per Everlast and chemical manufacturer guidelines to oxidize contaminants.
- Adjust hardness: Raise calcium hardness to recommended levels to reduce foaming.
- Drain and refill: If foam persists, drain the spa completely, wipe the shell, clean or replace Everlast filters, and refill with fresh water.
