Possible Causes

Burned-out heater element, Tripped high-limit, Loose heater wiring, Failed heater relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and verify with a meter before touching heater terminals.

  • Check for error codes: Even if none are obvious, scroll through the Everlast topside menu for hidden heater-related codes.
  • Inspect heater wiring: Remove the control pack cover and verify that heater wires are tight and not discolored or melted.
  • Continuity test: Disconnect heater leads and measure resistance across the Everlast heater element. An open circuit indicates a failed element that must be replaced.
  • Relay test: With power ON and a heat call present, a technician can test for voltage at the heater terminals. If no voltage is present but relays click, the control board may be faulty.
  • Replace heater assembly: Install a compatible Everlast Spas heater assembly, ensuring all unions are sealed and wiring is correct.
