Topside buttons respond intermittently or require very hard presses.

Safety first: Turn off power before disconnecting the keypad.

• Clean surface: Wipe the Everlast topside panel with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner to remove oils and residue.
• Inspect for cracks: Look for hairline cracks or delamination of the keypad overlay. If present, replacement is recommended.
• Reseat connector: Disconnect and reconnect the keypad cable at the control pack to clean contacts.
• Replace keypad: Install a new Everlast-compatible topside control panel if buttons remain unreliable.
