Display shows ICE or IC, pumps may run automatically even when spa is not in use.

Safety: Do not shut off power to the spa in freezing conditions unless the spa is fully winterized and drained.

• Verify actual water temperature: Use an external thermometer to compare with the displayed temperature.
• Keep cover on: Ensure the Evolution Spas cover is in good condition and properly latched to retain heat.
• Check for heating: Confirm the heater is operating and that the water is slowly warming. If the spa remains cold, there may be a heater or sensor issue.
• Inspect sensor: If the displayed temperature is clearly wrong (e.g., shows near freezing in warm weather), the temperature sensor may be faulty and should be replaced.

Freeze protection is a safety feature. If ICE remains active in non-freezing conditions, have a technician inspect the sensor and control pack.
