Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before working on the pressure switch or plumbing.
- Locate pressure switch: It is typically threaded into the heater manifold or plumbing near the heater.
- Check for leaks and tightness: Ensure the switch is snug and not leaking. Do not overtighten.
- Clean filter and verify flow: Clean the filter cartridge and confirm strong flow at jets and heater return.
- Inspect wiring: Verify the pressure switch wires are firmly connected to the control pack and not damaged.
If Prr persists, the pressure switch may need replacement with an Evolution Spas-compatible part. Some switches are adjustable; incorrect adjustment can cause nuisance errors and should be set by a technician.
