Possible Causes

Pressure switch stuck closed, Shorted pressure switch wiring, Incorrectly adjusted pressure switch, Control board input fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before handling the pressure switch or wiring.

  • Inspect switch body: Check for physical damage or signs of overheating.
  • Check wiring: Ensure the pressure switch wires are not shorted together or pinched.
  • Remove and test: If comfortable, disconnect one wire from the pressure switch and restore power briefly. If the error changes, the switch is likely stuck closed and should be replaced.

Do not permanently bypass the pressure switch; it is a safety device. If replacing the switch does not clear PSc, the control board may be faulty and should be evaluated by a technician.
