Possible Causes

Defective temperature sensor, Loose sensor connector, Moisture intrusion in control pack, Incorrect sensor type installed

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before opening the control pack.

  • Inspect sensor connectors: Open the control pack cover and locate the sensor plugs. Ensure they are fully seated and free of corrosion.
  • Dry moisture: If condensation or water is present inside the control box, dry it thoroughly and identify the source of the leak.
  • Compare temperature: Use an external thermometer to compare actual water temperature with the displayed value. Large discrepancies indicate a bad sensor.

If SE persists, replace the affected sensor(s) with Evolution Spas-compatible thermistors. If errors continue after sensor replacement, the control board may need professional service.
