Possible Causes
Failed ozone generator, Clogged Mazzei injector or check valve, Kinked ozone tubing, Ozone line disconnected from venturi
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before handling ozone tubing or components.
- Inspect tubing: Follow the clear ozone tube from the ozonator to the injector. Ensure there are no kinks or disconnections.
- Check check valve: Verify the ozone check valve is installed in the correct direction and not blocked.
- Observe bubbles: With power restored and pump running, look for fine bubbles at the ozone injection point. Lack of bubbles may indicate a clogged injector or failed ozonator.
Replace the ozonator or injector assembly as needed. Ozone systems are supplemental and the spa can operate without them, but water care may require more sanitizer.
