Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet gasket, Cracked jet body, Loose jet retaining nut, Chemical damage to seals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and lower water level below the leaking jet before disassembly.
- Inspect jet face: Remove the jet insert if possible and look for cracks or damage.
- Access backside: From inside the cabinet, locate the backside of the leaking jet body.
- Tighten retaining nut: Gently tighten the nut that holds the jet body to the shell. Do not overtighten.
- Replace gasket: If leaking persists, remove the jet body, clean the shell surface, and install a new gasket or jet body assembly.
Because access can be tight and foam may need to be removed, many owners choose to have a technician perform jet body replacements.
