Freeflow Spas
Reduced Jet Pressure
Jets are weak or uneven; some jets barely flow even on high speed.

Possible Causes
Dirty filter, Air lock in jet pump, Partially closed slice valve, Debris in jet pump impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing filters or opening unions.
- 1. Clean filter: Remove and thoroughly rinse the Freeflow filter cartridge. Test jet strength with the filter removed briefly.
- 2. Open all valves: In the equipment bay, ensure all slice/ball valves on suction and return lines are fully open.
- 3. Bleed pump: Loosen the union on the suction side of the jet pump until water flows, then retighten to remove trapped air.
- 4. Check jets themselves: Many jets can be turned to adjust flow. Rotate each jet face counterclockwise to fully open.
If pressure remains low, the pump impeller may be clogged or the motor weakening, requiring pump service or replacement.
