Possible Causes
Tripped house breaker or GFCI, Loose main power connections at spa terminal block, Incorrect voltage supply, Failed control board fuse
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power circuits to spas are high voltage. If you are not experienced, contact an electrician.
- 1. Check breakers: Verify the spa's dedicated breaker and any GFCI outlet are in the ON position. Reset if tripped.
- 2. Test outlet (120V plug-in models): Plug a lamp or tool into the same outlet to confirm power is present.
- 3. Inspect disconnect: For hardwired 240V models, ensure the spa disconnect box is on and fuses (if present) are intact.
- 4. Examine control box fuse: With power off, open the control box and look for a small internal fuse. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
If power is present at the spa but the control remains dead, the control board or transformer may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
